The Symbian Venture Forum, comprised of the world’s leading venture capital firms, was established in September 2003 to catalyze relationships between members of Symbian’s Platinum Partner Program and a community of investors committed to the mobile telecommunications industry.
Over the years, we have successfully introduced and presented a collection of partner companies to suitable capital providers, which has facilitated investments at all stages of funding. And collectively, our reward for the activities surrounding the Symbian Venture Forum continues to be the rapid expansion of the Symbian smartphone market worldwide and value creation for partners and investors, alike
Symbian believes that the success of its market leading operating system, Symbian OS™, goes hand-in-hand with the success of its ever-growing ecosystem. With over 300 companies participating in its Platinum Partner Program, 50% of which are pre-IPO companies and each providing compelling technologies and services for Symbian smartphones, the Symbian ecosystem continues to generate highly attractive investment opportunities for value-minded investors.
Symbian Venture Forum has become an invaluable resource for stimulating market growth and innovation, and an integral component within the commercial ecosystem around Symbian OS.
We thank the venture capital firms who have teamed with us in the Forum, and we strongly encourage the members of the Symbian Partner Network to explore investment opportunities offered through the Forum.
